Gary Cooper, known by his friends as Koop, has competed on some major levels as an athlete.
He played college football, as well as train for the Olympics. Koop has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Physical Education and has completed his certifications for Personal Training.
The type of workout you will experience with Koop is resistance training. This combines a lot of core exercises with lots of sprinting. Combining these exercises together creates more stability in your body. You will stand more erect as opposed to slumping down when walking, standing, or sitting. You will also have more balance when doing those exercises that require you to have coordination.
Since Fitness Edge Boot Camp, Koop has completed Level II of The Gauntlet and is currently completing Level V. The Gauntlet is a series of extreme exercises. Some are timed, like running 2.5 miles while jumping rope, and others are just strenuous and challenging like, doing 1000 push-ups over a certain period of time. All in all, it's a program designed to push you physically and challenge you mentally.
Koop loves helping people and pushing them to achieve their goals. His philosophy is that "Iron sharpens Iron." Once you start training, you may not be where you want to be, but keep going, and you will get there. When you do get there, we start pushing each other.
